Milan Design Week
As we strive to share the innovative technologies and alluring designs that comprise the CITIZEN watch collection, we are exhibiting for the first time at Milan Design Week. This ranks as one of the preeminent events for the global design industry, and it will be held this year from April 9 to 13 at the Triennale di Milano exhibition hall. Our participation will promote the CITIZEN brand to a wider audience, allowing more people to discover how we are shaping the future of watchmaking through relationship between light and time.
Our installation at Milan Design Week is the result of collaboration between the CITIZEN design team and Tsuyoshi Tane, a member of the internationally acclaimed Paris architectural design firm DGT. Guided by the theme Light is Time, they created a magnificent space from 80,000 main plates—the structural device that supports all of a watch's components. This remarkable installation will greet visitors to our booth at the exhibition hall. Together with displays of our latest watches as a well as an exhibit of pocket watches made during 1920s, we hope visitors will experience the unique allure and heritage of CITIZEN.
