What is Perfex
Impact Detection Function
The function to prevent the hands from being behind / ahead when a shock from outside is given to watch. A shock from outside reaches from Second Hand → Fifth Wheel → Rotor. As a result of the shock, an abnormal electric flow is generated around/between a rotor and an IC block. Then, brake pulse is generated by IC block and hold/stop Second Hand to minimize the erratic movement.
Hand Correction Function
There is a hole in “Fifth wheel” and “Second position detect wheel” where the infrared light goes through to find out whether the second hand is stay on the base position (reference position). The infrared light is generated inside of the movement every 60 seconds. If the infrared light goes through both holes in “Fifth wheel” and “Second position detect wheel”, the base position is kept right. If the infrared light does not go through both holes in “Fifth wheel” and “Second position detect wheel”, the base position is no longer kept right. Then, the infrared light is generated continuously to catch the position of the hole in Fifth wheel to count how many seconds Fifth wheel is away from the base position (the hole of Second hand detect wheel).
